Brand Strategy
Moon Grotto Metaphysics is the astrological practice of Samantha Mathison, encompassing both a storefront and tarot reading services. Together, we built a youthful brand designed to speak to her customers by creating a cohesive and memorable brand experience from social media to the in-store environment.
Visual Language
The visual identity draws heavily from Samantha’s Aquarius sign, weaving personal symbolism throughout the brand system. Water pitchers and repeating star motifs became key graphic elements, creating a flexible design language that extends across social media, business cards, and signage. Lowercase typography gives the brand a warm, approachable feel, while the modern gothic typeface nods to astrology’s ancient roots. The palette reimagines medieval regalia through deep purples and gold and balances them with modern youthful hues like vibrant magenta and salmon.
Results
With a refined brand system and strategic foundation, Moon Grotto Metaphysics is positioned with a polished and recognizable presence both online and in person. Since launch, Samantha has grown the business into a well-known name within the astrological community.
